Set-up requirements for trapeze act If the ceiling is strong enough and has a beam, we attach the trapeze directly to the beam, as shown below. The ceiling has to be a maximum of 40 feet and a minimum of 22 feet high. If the ceiling is more than 35 feet high, I have to install a "Fix Bar" (Steel Bar) at 30 feet, as well as four anchor points on the floor or beams, as shown in the picture on the side.
